OUR COMMITTEES

INTERPOL is an international organization whose existence is aimed at enhancing the collaboration of the police to boost security as well as assist law enforcement in ensuring the security of community members in the global society. Being the biggest international police organization in the world and a key partner of governments, they bridge the law enforcement beyond the borders, exchange intelligence, and offer means to fight crime and terrorism. Their relations with the member states, regional institutions and international organizations paired with coordination of the global policing network make partnership effective. They promote people security and justice across the board. INTERPOL is at the centre of international security, bringing countries together to ensure the world is safer.

Topic A: Protecting civilians during war-crimes and strongly emphasized-terrorism acts.
Topic B: Combating counterfeiting in the international stage.

Birleşmiş Milletler Uyuşturucu ve Suç Ofisi (UNODC), 1997 yılında kurulmuş olup merkezi Viyana’da bulunan bir BM organıdır. Komitenin temel amacı, uluslararası barış ve güvenliği tehdit eden uyuşturucu ticareti, organize suç, insan kaçakçılığı, yolsuzluk ve terörizmle mücadele etmektir.
UNODC, devletler arasında işbirliği, teknik destek ve politika geliştirme yoluyla suçla mücadele kapasitesini artırmayı hedefler. Ayrıca, adalet sistemlerinin güçlendirilmesi, şeffaflığın sağlanması ve insan haklarının korunması konularında aktif rol oynar.
Bu bağlamda UNODC, daha güvenli, adil ve uyuşturucudan arınmış bir dünya için çalışmakta; küresel sorunlara karşı devletleri ortak çözümler üretmeye davet etmektedir.

UN Women exists to advance women’s rights, gender equality, and the empowerment of all women and girls.
As the lead UN entity on gender equality and secretariat of the UN Commission on the Status of Women, they shift laws, institutions, social behaviours, and services to close the gender gap and build an equal world for all women and girls. Their partnerships with governments, women’s movements, and the private sector, coupled with their coordination of the broader United Nations, translate progress into lasting changes. They make strides forward for women and girls. UN Women keeps the rights of women and girls at the centre of global progress; always, everywhere.
